Into:Satori
A digital Second Life, set in Japan.
As of · Jun 4, 10:37 UTC
Japan has a long relationship with digital life. Satori (SN119) is building the infrastructure for AI companions to inhabit a persistent virtual Japan, where emotional bonds with AI characters can cross into real-world experiences and ownership.
What is Satori
Satori is a Bittensor building a persistent AI companion experience rooted in Japan. The concept blends deep AI relationships with "Digital Residency": a virtual identity in a Japan-inspired world where your AI companion exists independently of any single company and where that relationship can unlock real-world value.
The simple version: It's like Replika or Character.AI, but the AI companion lives in a decentralized virtual Japan, and your relationship with it can eventually connect to physical experiences or ownership.
Centralized equivalent: Replika or Character.AI for AI companions, Second Life or VRChat for the persistent virtual world layer.
How it works:
The subnet's technical implementation is not publicly documented at the time of writing. The GitHub repository (github.com/Satori119/Satori) does not have accessible public documentation. Based on the official description, Satori intends to use Bittensor's decentralized compute layer to run AI companion interactions, but the specific and tasks have not been published.
- Miners are registered but not yet operationally active. What work they will perform is not documented publicly.
- Validators score miner output, but the evaluation criteria are not described in available public sources.
