### What is Subnet 39?

As of June 16, 2026, Subnet 39's registered on-chain identity is not set to a real project. The identity name, repository, description, and Discord fields all carry the placeholder value "deprecated", and the linked repository (github.com/deprecated/deprecated) does not resolve. No claimed project name or working repository is registered to the current slot owner, so there is nothing here to verify or describe yet.

The slot owner has also changed since our previous article on this netuid, which covered a different subnet (basilica), so this is a new occupant rather than an update to the earlier project.
