Slot 84 changed hands: ChipForge, the subnet we previously covered here, no longer holds this slot, and the owner who re-registered it has not set an on-chain identity yet.

### What is Subnet 84?

As of June 20, 2026, no claimed project identity is registered to Subnet 84's current slot owner. TaoStats reports the registered subnet name as "Unknown", with the GitHub, website, description, Discord, and Twitter fields all empty. Some dashboards surface the slot as "ansuz" with the symbol Ansuz, but that is the token symbol auto-assigned to this netuid, not a name the owner chose. There is no claimed project name or working repository to verify or describe yet.

On-chain registration records show the slot was re-registered on May 1, 2026 by a new owner (5G1hDNpP...). That address differs from the owner recorded at our earlier writeup of this slot, when it held ChipForge, so the previous article no longer matches what is registered on-chain.
